Dr. Sabir Kunnath
Director
Dr. Kunnath has been practicing Veterinary Medicine for over 30 YEARS!! He completed his postgraduate training at Oklahoma State University, USA before moving to Stoney Creek to work at the East Side Pet Vet Hospital. After moving to Binbrook, he made the decision to serve the community by opening his own small animal practice. Dr. Kunnath continuously participates in continued education seminars by attending yearly Veterinary conferences and being a member of Veterinary Information Network. His areas of interests are internal medicine, emergency medicine and dentistry. He is married to Seema, who is very active in community activities, and has two daughters – Afraah and Ayesha. In his spare time, Dr. Kunnath likes to travel. His other hobbies are reading, listening to music and playing sports
Dr. Mohsina Muthalavi
Veterinarian
Throughout her veterinary career, Dr. Moh has worked in a variety of clinical settings and developed a strong foundation in both general and companion animal medicine. Her diverse experience allows her to provide thoughtful, thorough care tailored to each pet and family she serves. Dr. Moh brings over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine to her role. Her career has included practicing in multiple countries, with experience in both India and Qatar, before she made Canada her home.
Dr. Moh enjoys a full and active life outside the clinic with her husband, their three children, and their cat, Ollie. In her spare time, she loves traveling, reading, spending quality time with her family, and playing the violin.
Laura RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
Laura has been with the Village Centre team since 2012. She is a graduate of Veterinary Technician program from Ridgetown Campus, University of Guelph. She has been working with Dr. Kunnath since the early days of Village Centre opening and is well known by our many clients for her excellent client education skills, caring and compassionate demeanor. In her spare time, she is either home with her husband Andrew, daughter Jaimee, son Landon, her dog Piper or out spending time at the barn with her horse, Matrix. She loves all types of animal and will do her best to make your pets feel as comfortable and happy as possible while they are with us in the hospital.
Regan VA
Vet Assistant
Regan has been working in the veterinary industry since 2016. During her time in the field she has worked and volunteered in a variety of clinical settings including emergency medicine, large animal, companion animal and wildlife rehabilitation before becoming a member of our team in May 2022. Regan recently graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Major in Animal Biology. While awaiting entry into the DVM program, Regan has successfully continued to gain skills in medical care with successfully completing the Royal Canin and Hill's Nutritional Advisor programs. When not at work Regan enjoys spending her time travelling, reading and cuddling with her two cats Freddie and Oliver or teaching her puppy Marshall new tricks. You will likely see Marshall hanging around the clinic as he spends most days cheering us on in the back of the clinic.
Emily VA
Veterinary Technician Student
Emily joined the Village Centre Animal Hospital in September 2023. She is currently in her 3rd year of the distance Veterinary Technician program through the Ridgetown College, University of Guelph. She enjoys spending time with her variety of pets, ranging from pocket pets, cats and dogs. As she is fairly new in the industry she enjoys the continued education seminars and ongoing relationships she is building with our clients and their pets.
Maryna VT
Veterinary Technician
Maryna joined the Village Centre team in July 2024 after completing the Veterinary Technician program from Seneca College. She has a strong love for our feline friends as you may see from the several cat tattoos lining her arms. She enjoys purr-fecting her skills by participating with surgery, running bloodwork and taking radiographs. She can be found always on the move here at the clinic and is often the one greeting you as you walk in. When not in at the clinic she is snuggling at home with her many cats and is notorious for surprising her boyfriend with a new feline friend.
Emily VT
Clinic Manager
Emily joined Village Centre Animal Hospital in January 2025 as a Veterinary Technician and Clinic Manager. She is a graduate of Ridgetown College, where she earned her Veterinary Technician diploma in 2003. With over two decades of experience in the veterinary field, Emily has worked in busy clinical settings and, in recent years, served as a Hospital Manager, bringing strong leadership and organizational skills to our team.
Emily has a special interest in neonatal care, animal behaviour and training, and is passionate about supporting pet owners with the knowledge and guidance they need to provide the best care for their animals.
Outside of work, Emily lives in the country with her busy family. She, her husband, and her four children share their home with three dogs—Raffi, Apple, and Minka—and four cats—Bento, Jenga, Bristol and Bronte. In her spare time, Emily enjoys boating, skiing, and practicing karate.
Avery VA
Veterinary Technician Student
Avery joined the Village Centre team in May 2025. She is currently attending the Veterinary Technician program at Ridgetown, while working on weekends and breaks. She enjoys practicing her new skills and knowledge and gaining practical experience.
Terra -Lee
Client Care Representative
Terra came to the Village Centre team after starting in the veterinary field in 2006. She fell in love with the animal industry after being exposed to farming at a young age. She then worked in emergency veterinary medicine from 2008 until 2020. In May 2021 Terra was moved into the Clinic Manager position as she is keen on client and patient care and takes great pride in ensuring our clients are well cared for. She loves to partake in the continued education seminars in diet, dental and radiology. She enjoys giving back to the community by helping families in need, and she is also proud to have been a surrogate.
Terra has taken a step back from clinic to be able to spend more time at home with her husband Frank, daughters Kay-Lee and Charlee and their cat Rory, but continues to help out occasionally when needed.
